Setting Up Your Google Account
Navera uses Google's enterprise security to protect your health information. Before accessing the portal, you'll need a Google account linked to your email address.
Why Google Security? We use Google Cloud Identity-Aware Proxy (IAP) to ensure that only authorized members can access the portal. This provides bank-level security for your sensitive health data.
Choose Your Setup Path
Select the option that matches your current situation:
I already have a Google account with this email
If you already use Google services (Gmail, Google Drive, YouTube) with your invited email, you're all set! Simply click "Accept Invitation" in your email and sign in with your existing Google account.
I have a different email address
You can create a Google account using any existing email address (like your Yahoo, Outlook, or work email). Google won't change your email provider—it just creates a Google identity for secure sign-in.
Follow the steps below to create your account.
Create a Google Account with Your Email
Go to Google Account Creation
Visit the Google account signup page. You'll use your existing email address—no need to create a new Gmail address.
Enter Your Information
Fill in the form with:
- Your first and last name
- Your birthday and gender
How you'll sign in
On the signup form, look for the link that says "Use your existing email" (located left of the Next button). Click this to use your non-Gmail email. Enter the email you were invited with.
Verify Your Email
Google will send a verification code to your email address. Check your inbox (and spam folder), then enter the code on the Google signup page.
Complete Setup & Access Navera
Once verified, your Google account is ready! Return to your invitation email and click "Accept Invitation" to access the Navera portal.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will this change my email provider?
No. Your email will continue to work exactly as before. Creating a Google account simply gives you a secure identity to sign in with—it doesn't change how you send or receive emails.
Is my data safe with Google?
Yes. Google's security infrastructure is used by millions of businesses worldwide, including healthcare organizations. Your connection to Navera is protected by enterprise-grade encryption and access controls.
What if I forget my Google password?
You can reset it anytime at accounts.google.com/signin/recovery. Google will verify your identity using your email address.
Do I need to use Gmail?
No. You can use any email address to create a Google account. Gmail is optional.
